Important Updates/Reminders: - Last week was National Assistant Principals' Week. The Class of 2022 put together a video to thank Ms. Biela, Ms. Hargrove, and Ms. Hollingsworth. Thank you to everyone who participated. Here's the video that was sent out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWO12GbUso4 - To help prepare for the WHAP exam, a collaborative document (https://unhpclassof2022.wixsite.com/2022/post/collaborative-whap-document) has been created. Please use it to study. If we all put in even a little bit of work on it, we'll have a good resource to use on the AP exam.
- Optional Practice for the AP Exam has been unlocked on AP Classroom by the College Board: https://apclassroom.collegeboard.org/34/assessments/assignments/optional-practice
- Elections for Student Council have been postponed to August 2020 (assuming we return to school then).
- We are trying to get the ball rolling for class sweatshirts next year. This is NOT a contest, but if you're interested in submitting a design, please email sweatshirt designs from Custom Ink to unhpclassof2022@gmail.com. The requirements are that the sweatshirts must be personalized (there must be a space to have each person's name), must mention "2022," must have the UNHP crest or logo, and must be appropriate.
- For now, class meetings are optional. However, we need to start planning for Fall Festival and Prom soon. We are working to see if we can get the members of the Fall Festival and/or Prom committee to have a weekly Zoom call to continue off the work we started on. If you're interested, please let me know. - Friday 4/17 @ 11:59 PM is the deadline for this week's assignments. - Attendance and credit are based on your participation in Zoom lessons OR submitting the alternative assignment. - TEA has released guidelines for grades; Uplift is finalizing their grading policy and will send that out soon. For now, all assignments/participation is based on completion/attendance and will be marked as either "complete" or "missing." - Remember that when entering the Zoom meetings, your name should be entered as it appears in PowerSchool (or according to the teacher's instructions). Please do not share the meeting link, ID, or password with people who are not in our class.
