Please go through the email Mrs. Biela sent about AP exams for this year. This email was sent through your parents. Steps 2,3, and 6 below summarize that email.
Use the "Join Code" to join in AP Classroom for the AP exam(s) you are taking. These "Join Codes" will be provided by your AP Teacher or can be found posted near Mrs. Biela's office. Go to https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/, sign in to your College Board account, click on "Join a Course or Exam", and enter the 6-digit code. If you do not complete this step by 12 PM on Monday, November 1, you might not be registered to take the AP exams this year.
Join the 2022 AP Information Schoology group using this code: RH3P-TDCZ-ZFC9M
For IB Exam Registration, Mrs. Biela will come to class meeting on Thursday, September 16, so don't worry about that for now.
You may make payments for IB exams now if you wish. Each IB exam costs $125. You may make payments by check or credit card to Mrs. Shabout. Please email her (ashabout@uplifteducation.org) if you'd like to take care of that. Information on AP exam fees is coming soon, so don't worry about that for now.
Remember that if you're in an AP/IB class in PowerSchool, you MUST take the corresponding AP/IB exam. If you're not in the AP/IB section, you may still take the exam - just make sure to register in AP classroom and/or with Mrs. Biela for IB.
For IB, if you are a full DP candidate, you MUST have at least 3 HLs and 3 SLs. Contact Mrs. Biela (kbiela@uplifteducation.org) NOW if that is not the case since your IB Diploma is at jeopardy right now.
The exams you may take this year are listed in the PDF schedule attached below. Note that there are often scheduling conflicts between AP and IB. To my knowledge, it's easier to take the late AP exam than reschedule the IB exam (that requires approval from IBO HQ). If you have conflicts, make sure to reach out to your teacher and Mrs. Biela (kbiela@uplifteducation.org). Note that the current official exam schedules for AP and IB (sometimes they update them, in which case another blog post will be sent out) are linked on the PDF itself
