North Lake Attendees,

I am sending this email regarding learning materials and textbooks for your classes. ALL Dual Enrollment attendees have been provided a waiver for tuition for their college level course.  However, every scholar is responsible for the purchasing of their learning materials (learning software, subscriptions, etc.)  Every college student attending a class has this responsibility. Unfortunately, there is no waiver or financial aid available from DCCCD or UNHP for this.

If this has not been the case before, please note that this has been a recent change.  We at UNHP cannot speak to any curricular changes that have occurred at DCCCD. However, I am making a confident assumption that much of this is due to the fully virtual learning setting we are all in, which is something none of us have control over.

Please know that the answer regarding financial aid will remain the same if you contact North Lake CC. 

If you find yourself unable to purchase the learning materials, it will be in your best interest to drop the course before the 4th day of class, which is Tuesday, June 9th.  Any drop after the 4th day will result in an F on the college transcript.

Attached, you will find a course drop form. To successfully drop your course, you will need to fill this form out in its entirety and send it to your academic counselor, who will sign and send it to DCCCD.
